The Texan Surgery Center is a fully accredited and Medicare licensed facility. They offer an exceptional level of convenience and comfort in surgery. During your brief stay with them you will find the highest quality of care rendered by a concerned, expertly trained staff. You will also find warm friendly surroundings, easy access, parking and personal attention unlike that available on a hospital environment. They are constantly striving to improve their processes to provide efficient, quality care, enabling you to return home to recover within the security of family and friends as safely and quickly as possible. PRE-ADMISSION PROCEDURE After Dr. Maggi has scheduled a time and date for your procedure, a nurse from the Center will contact you. During the preadmission interview, you will be given a list of instructions to follow to ensure a safe procedure and recovery. You will also need to answer questions regarding your medical history and any medications you currently take. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding your surgery. It is our goal to make your surgical experience as pleasant as possible. You are welcome to visit the facility in advance of your surgery. |

| Texan Surgery Center has been designed especially to care for the outpatient surgical patient. This enables you to receive the maximum you levels of care and service from the moment you arrive at the reception desk until the time you leave for home following surgery. ADMISSION PROCEDURE Texan Surgery Center welcomes you as a patient and assures you the care you receive is the highest quality. To make your surgical experience safe and successful, you will need to follow these guidelines. - Please follow all instructions given by our nurse during the pre-admission interview. - Upon arrival, please check in at the reception desk. - Please bring your insurance information and picture ID to expedite the admission process and ensure proper billing. - Please bring a method of payment for any deductible or copays. - Wear casual, comfortable clothing. - Leave all jewelry, body piercings and valuables at home. - Please do not wear make-up or contact lenses. - Be sure to have an adult present to drive you home when your surgery is completed. |
